Life is to be lived not perceived.

- Sri Amma Bhagavan

Life is not meant to be kept at a distance, analyzing, judging, or trying to understand. The moment you stand apart from life, you only perceive it through the filters of the mind. Perception is nothing but interpretation, and interpretation is born of conditioning. In such a state, you are not living; you are only imagining what life is.

To truly live is to be in direct contact with reality - to feel, to experience, to participate without the interference of thought. When you live, you taste the juice of existence, you flow with its mystery, you embrace both its joy and its sorrow. In that living, the Divine reveals itself, and life becomes a sacred dance, not a concept in the mind. Let's pray to Sri Amma Bhagavan to understand to stop perceiving and start living.

Nobody can change the other because the problem is with you. - Sri Amma Bhagavan

You cannot truly change another, for what you see as their fault is only a reflection of the state within you. The conflict you experience with them arises from your own perceptions, expectations, and hidden wounds. To try to change the other is to avoid meeting yourself.

When you turn inward and see the root of disturbance in your own mind and heart, transformation begins. As you change, the world around you shifts effortlessly. In that awakening, you realize there was never a problem outside — it was always the Divine inviting you to discover yourself. Let's pray to Sri Amma Bhagavan to understand that nobody can change anyone.

Nature of the mind is destructive.  - Sri Amma Bhagavan

The mind in its ordinary state moves in constant conflict. It judges, compares, and clings, forever dividing life into what it wants and what it fears. In this restless movement it unknowingly destroys peace, harmony, and the simple joy of being. This is why sages say the very nature of the unawakened mind is destructive-it cannot help but create division where none exists.

Yet this same mind, when illumined by awareness, becomes a servant of the Divine. Through gentle observation and the touch of grace, its turbulence settles. The destructive force is not its essence but its ignorance. When the mind is seen clearly, it loses its power to harm and becomes a clear channel through which love and truth can flow. Let's pray to Sri Amma Bhagavan to understand that the nature of the mind is destructive.
